Rebuilding the Custom Stainless Website — Concept 2

Migrated from the Wix proof portal, originally published 2026-05-13.

The public Low's Custom Stainless website needs a hero that actually matches the work. The current page reads generic — it could be any contractor. The fabrication is anything but generic, and the homepage should make that clear in the first three seconds.

Concept 2

The new hero is a six-photo SVG-clipped story — six real shop photographs revealed in sequence, with a laser-draw outline animation in red and yellow that traces the cut paths, and a light-sweep over the Low's logo instead of a pulsing halo.

Rules I'm holding to

  • Photo-only assets. No baked-in text or logos in the source images — they get composited at render time.
  • Metal work only. Cutting, welding, grinding, polishing. Never wood.
  • Reduced-motion respected. Anyone with reduced-motion preference set sees a static version, not a strobing carousel.
  • Audit-first protocol. Nothing ships to the public site until the existing hero is audited so we know what we're replacing.

Where it stands

In progress. The strategy document and animation plan are written. The photographs need to be picked. The first prototype draws are coming.

Public lowscustomstainless.com stays untouched until Concept 2 is reviewed and approved.
